Designed for Semiconductor Local Scrubber Applications

Toplus’ DNX series is a high-performance NOx removal module developed specifically for semiconductor local scrubber applications. It is particularly suitable for sites where hydrogen pipeline installation is restricted or difficult to implement.

DNX integrates advanced technology and control mechanisms to generate the hydrogen required for reaction inside the system. The generated hydrogen reacts directly with nitrogen oxides, NOx, enabling outstanding removal performance. Actual test results have shown that NOx emissions can be reduced to Not Detected levels.

DNX is available in two flexible configurations: embedded and external add-on. The embedded design can be directly integrated into local scrubber equipment, enabling space optimization and system-level integration. The external add-on design can be deployed as an independent module and quickly introduced into existing local scrubber systems without major modifications to the original configuration, making it especially suitable for equipment upgrades and retrofit applications.

Compared with external hydrogen pipeline supply, DNX does not require an additional gas supply system. It offers fast response and high adaptability, allowing flexible adjustment according to process conditions while maintaining stable and excellent NOx removal performance. Customer test results have also shown that DNX performs better than systems using externally supplied hydrogen.

With its modular design, DNX can be flexibly expanded according to different process exhaust flow rates and NOx concentration requirements. It also integrates a control system with real-time monitoring, flow control, and multiple safety protection mechanisms to ensure stable long-term operation.

In addition, DNX has passed SEMI S2 safety and relevant explosion-proof certifications, meeting the semiconductor industry’s stringent requirements for equipment safety, reliability, and production-line compatibility.

DNX is an efficient solution for NOx control in semiconductor exhaust gas treatment systems, combining safety, environmental performance, and ease of operation. It also supports compliance with increasingly stringent environmental regulations and ESG sustainability requirements.

Performance Test
Customer test results have shown that DNX can reduce NOx concentration to below 10 ppm or even to Not Detected levels.

Operating Principle

DNX operates by generating hydrogen internally and introducing it into the local scrubber system under controlled conditions. The hydrogen reacts with nitrogen oxides, NOx, in the system and converts them into harmless nitrogen, N₂, and water, H₂O, achieving highly efficient NOx removal.

DNX is equipped with control mechanisms that allow operating parameters to be adjusted according to process exhaust conditions, ensuring stable and continuous NOx removal performance while maintaining operational safety and energy efficiency.
