Traditionally, process exhaust hydrogen has been treated through combustion or dilution discharge. However, both approaches have certain limitations.<\/p>

Combustion-based treatment requires high-temperature operation, which not only results in higher energy consumption, but may also generate secondary pollutants such as NOx, increasing environmental burden and regulatory risks. In addition, combustion systems rely on stable energy supply and safety control mechanisms. When operating conditions fluctuate or equipment ages, combustion efficiency may decline, potentially leading to additional safety concerns.<\/p>

Long-term high-temperature operation can also accelerate equipment degradation, resulting in higher maintenance costs and an increased risk of unplanned downtime.<\/p>

By contrast, dilution only reduces hydrogen concentration by introducing a large amount of air. It does not fundamentally eliminate hydrogen.
